BUILDING AUTOMATION SYSTEMS TRAINING AND EDUCATION

The smart building sector is still very new and educational institutes are struggling to keep up with the latest advancements in the industry. That's why we've partnered with several technical schools in Ontario, offering our expertise in building automation systems training, helping create both sustainable energy and building technology curriculums.

Not only does our staff teach at Humber College's Sustainable Energy and Building Technology program, ACE built their new Building Automation Lab. We installed ten state-of-the-art work stations, as well as highly accurate air-handling model units from several industry partners for students to build their skills with.

In addition to our work with Humber, we also sit on advisory committees at both Georgian College and George Brown College, helping them plan smart building curriculums that will prepare their students for promising careers in this fast-paced industry.

With our help, George Brown recently launched their advanced diploma program in building automation, a three-year program that prepares graduates for careers as building automation managers and contractors. Meanwhile, Georgian College will be launching their new "BASE" program in building automation in September 2019.

We also make it a priority to give our employees access to ongoing education, as well as bringing on new employees passionate about smart building technology, giving them the additional building automation systems training they need to become experts in the field.
